Single Parent American Dream Grant 2020

I am so excited to share this blog with you! As part of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Charity Committee I want to make sure that I inform everyone I know about this great opportunity.

The Salt Lake Board of Realtors® is giving away eight $5,000 grants to help first-time homebuyers with their down payments. These grants will help aid single parents, first-responders, school teachers, and veterans in achieving the dream of homeownership. We will be awarding two grants per quarter in 2020, doubling the number of winners from last year!

The first grant that will be given is the Single Parent American Dream Grant that will be chosen on Mar. 20, 2020. The deadline to enroll is March 6, 2020.

There are income limit requirements. A single parent with one child needs to have a household income less than $75,000 a year. If you are a single parent with two or more dependents then you’ll need to make less than $86,400. There is a credit score requirement of 640 or higher. You’ll need to be willing to purchase a home within 90 days of accepting the grant. The only other requirement to enter to win is to work with a Realtor and I’ve got that covered for you!
